The government of Canada has announced $400
million in 2011-2012
to help homeowners make their homes more energy efficient and reduce
the burden of high energy costs. The eco-ENERGY retrofit plan allows
homeowners to recover part of the cost of completing certain qualifying
renovation’s to their homes aimed at increasing energy efficiency.
Natural Resources Canada (NRCAN) will announce eligibility criteria in
the weeks following the passing of the 2011 federal budget. More information here
